Due to forecasting, our counselors will NOT be taking appointments this week.  They have asked that you email them with your requests.

Seniors interested in Firefighting, there is an amazing opportunity for you to consider open to both boys and girls.  See Jacki in the Career Center for more details.

Seniors, mark your calendars for your next senior class meeting on Wednesday, February 28th during mentor period

Juniors and seniors interested in a career in the healthcare field are invited to go to the Bend COCC Campus on March 9th to attend the Health Careers Expo.  Due to limited space, the first 14 students to turn in their completed permission slip will get to go, and also only students with a minimum 2.8 GPA will be accepted to attend”.  Pick up a permission slip when you sign up in the Career Center.

The 2nd annual Panther’s Got Talent Show is tonight @ 7 pm.  From blues to jazz, from ventriloquists to magic acts, this show’s got it all —  so come one, come all. General admission is $3; admission with an audience choice ballot is $5.

Visit the new internship bulletin board outside the Career Center.  Tear off the internship opportunity you are interested in, complete a Student Profile along with your resume and submit to Mr. Davis.

Have you been accepted into a college, university, branch of the military or trade school?  If so, Jacki needs to know so you can put a flag on the giant map in the Career Center.

Seniors!  If you have not completed your OSAC application, this is a reminder the early bird deadline is 5 PM February 15th.  If your application is completed, you will be automatically entered for a scholarship from OSAC. The regular deadline is 5 PM March 1st.

Attention all juniors & seniors thinking about working in the automotive industry; Perry Tech will be doing a presentation in Mr. Stroup’s room on Thursday, February 22nd at 9AM.  Those students NOT in Mr. Stroup’s class, please sign up in the Career Center to attend. Also, there is a scholarship available for automotive students from SEMA.  Pick up information from Mr. Stroup or Jacki in the Career Center.

Boys interested in playing Lacrosse this Spring, pick up your paperwork in the Career Center.

Boys and girls golf meeting, Wednesday, February 21 at 11:00 in A143, Mr Saito’s room.  It’s not too late to join!

OSAA Spring Sports start Monday, Feb 26.  Sports offered are Track & Field, Baseball, Softball, Boys Tennis, Girls Tennis, Boys Golf and Girls Golf.  Check with Barb in the Athletic Office for clearance information.

This weekend the Redmond HS Equestrian team will be competing at the fairgrounds in all disciplines with their horses.  Come on out and show your support.  There is no charge and events run all day, beginning today.

Students interested in scholarship opportunities, the Career Center now has the “Scholarship of the Week.”  Pick one up in the Career Center today!

Need help with math?  Come to the tutoring center today after school to get help in ANY subject!  Open from 1:30- 3:00.  ALL are welcome!

The tutoring center is open Wednesday from 1:30-3:00 in the Career Center.  Come get help from National Honor Society students, or just study on your own!

Seniors who live in Crooked River Ranch; there is a scholarship just for you!  Pick up a paper application in the Career Center.  If you’re selected, it is worth $1,500 toward your college expenses!

Is your Chromebook glitching or just isn’t working like it should.  If so, come see Ruth in the Career Center and make sure to bring your case with you.
